Secondary Computer Information Systems or Math Teacher for placement in the 2026-2027 school year. *Possible additional duty of assistant baseball coach. 

 

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree from accredited university

Valid Texas teaching certificate in content area assigned

 

Special Knowledge/Skills:

Knowledge of academic subject, curriculum, and instruction

Ability to instruct students in a variety of effective methods

Strong classroom management skills

Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

 

Pay: 

Adopted Gary ISD pay scale ($4000 above base, $2000 masters)

STAAR Tested Stipends ($5000)

TIA District

LASO Cycle 4 Lift Recipient: District Teacher Allocation (Math only)
